bonjour! bienvenus! good day, and welcome to ashes and wine. it looks as though you’ve applied to the universitè de sorbonne. well, good luck if you plan on actually staying. it seems there have been several dishonourable and dangerous activities going on as of yet. things definitely aren’t the way they used to be.

before this school was rather small with a very select amount of students. founded by robert de sorbon in 1257, it was one of the first significant colleges of the time period. now, well why don’t you delve into it yourself. it would be rather wrong if i divulged what i know only to later realize it was untrue. this thread was made in order to help you sort out what to get done before you actually start posting and so on—think of it as a type of guide that will lead you to a fun-filled stay at a & w.

• GETTING STARTED

Like everything in life, this site does have set rules. Make sure to read those thoroughly as they will answer any and all your questions as well as provide you with the password you need to post your application. Also, you may want to check out the occupations, which supplies you with a list of responsibilities and requirements for each job.

And after you are initially accepted, this entire world of murder and mystery is open to you! Below is a list of recommendations as to what you should do before you actually start role-playing.

• RECCOMENDATIONS

•• Sign up for a celebrity in the face claim
•• Sign up for any other claims such as msn/email addresses, occupations, and dormitories
•• Set up your relatives & relations chart and post up some sort of thread tracker or looking for thread in the shipping board
•• Post in other’s charts to expand your own characters background and future
•• Create your blog.net, journal and cell phone
•• Make an open thread or join one, and just have fun!

• FAQS

•• there are 3 "dares" put up per month, if your character completes a dare first, they are given immunity and won't die that month.
•• 5 characters are made targets during the month. if you are a target, you will most likely die that month unless you complete a dare!
•• if you really don't want your character dead, then we'll just put them in the ICU. so don't worry! lol

• NOTE

If you are having any trouble, don’t be afraid to ask. We’re here to make sure this site runs well and is enjoyable to everyone so feel free to tell us anything you’d like. Besides that, if you believe a member is being hostile to you in any way/shape/form, notify us immediately and we will deal with it. Our goal is to make this site filled to the brim with drama, but only in character, NOT out of character. So, hope you have fun and take pleasure in role-playing here!
