LE THÉÂTRE
all the excitement of putting on a production and performing is infused within the very walls of the auditorium. whether one is an actor, dancer, musician, or public speaker—the spotlight lies in wait for them all to take center stage. the echoes of applause from audiences which have occupied its seats seems to never fade and neither does the talent each student impresses upon it after they take their bows. but, as with all theatres there are rumours of the place being haunted. several have accounts of meetings with people not there or other strange occurrences. still, can they all really be superstitions?

BIBLIOTHÈQUE
the sorbonne has one of the largest and oldest libraries in all of france. with double stories of books and novels from around the world encased in wooden cherry bookshelves no wonder all the students serious about their studies flock here. several tables with hanging tiffany lamps are situated for your comfort while you study as are the few arm chairs placed here and there. perhaps the most exciting part about the library though is the catacombs. underneath it all are the musty rooms locked away in order to protect the ancient bindings which tell various tales of history, and to protect the students from learning too much about the past.

RICHELIEU AMPHITHEATER
a true work of art, the richelieu named after cardinal richelieu who requested the sorbonne to be rebuilt in 1653 is one of the most memorable lecture halls one will find themselves walking into. With domed ceilings, sculptures, wall carvings, and immense murals and paintings one can’t help but be in complete awe when first seeing it. it is a trademark of not only the university but all france.
