[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall saturday morning.. logan woke up with a splintering headache. why couldn't he remember how he had ended up in his bed? he sat up, rubbed his eyes and sighed. this wasn't the first time this had happened, sadly. but logan mathieu was famous around sorbonne university. he was known to be a partier, but this party last night had been rough on him. he felt like crap. his dorm room looked like a bomb had exploded in here and people were sleeping all possible places. it had been a crazy party apparently. but logan had missed one person; ceridwyn. he was positive that she hadn't been there. or maybe she had arrived so late that he was too drunk to recognize her? logan drove his tongue over his teeth and decided he needed to brush his teeth as the first thing. so he stood up, rather insecure on his legs, but managed to get out to the bathroom. his head pounded and he took a glass of water. then he walked over towards the toilet and quickly did what he should there and walked over towards the mirror and sighed. he looked so dead.
another small escaped his lips as he found his toothbrush and started brushing his teeth. after that he spitted and looked in the mirror again; "plus jamais..." he said and nodded. like he was going to keep that promise. but at least, tonight he wouldn't be able to touch alcohol. he was fed up. logan quickly undressed and took a quick shower. he found himself a little better now and went in to his dorm and opened a window, because it really smelled in there. after getting dressed, he went downstairs and headed over to the chapel. not that logan was religious, in fact he was an atheist. but no one at the chapel had to know. he just needed some silence and he had some thinking to do.
why was it that he so desperately wanted to see ceridwyn last night? why her and not someone else? well, for starters. she was logan's best friend little sister. and that made it terribly wrong to think about her in that way, right? logan kind of broke the bro code by having these thoughts about her. but it was kind of hard not feeling anything towards her. she was beautiful, open, a partier like himself, yet very modest and extremely sexy. logan just hoped that his best friend wasn't down here too. as he sighed and took a deep breath and hid his face in his hand, he felt a hand on his shoulder. quickly, he looked up and saw ceridwyn.

The sun was too damned bright! Ceridwyn Wilde groaned as she used her arms to block the light from her eyes as she awoke from her slumber, her feet carelessly kicking her blanket onto the floor. Her head was pounding and the room was spinning as she sat up, running a hand through her hair as her eyes adjusted to the light. What time was it? She fumbled to find her phone on the nightstand beside her, wishing more than anything that she could just lay back down and go to sleep. But that wasn't going to happen, especially as she discovered how late into the morning it already was. She'd overslept. Not that she had anything important to do today, but she was slowly trying to work herself into a schedule, getting up earlier even when she didn't have to. It took her a few moments to actually get out of bed before she sluggishly made her way to the bathroom. She quickly used the bathroom, showered, dressed, and applied her make-up, preparing for her day even as her eyes kept looking longingly toward her rumpled bed.
The party last night had been insane, wildly fun, and in the end she considered herself responsible. After all, she'd only had a total of four drinks when she would normally get completely wasted. Granted, she had still gotten drunk, just not as drunk as she normally did. Yesterday had been a long, stressful day and all she wanted to do was dance it all away. And she had. Mission success.
The students of the Arts always threw the best parties, and it also meant that she got to hang out with Logan, her...older brother's best friend. There were times he was like another older brother to her, but then there times that it seemed very, very different from that. In a good way. To say he was hot was a major exaggeration, but she knew where the line was and not to cross it. There had been times, admittedly, when that line was blurred and the temptation was there, but it wasn't as though he was interested in her anyway. He was her sometimes party buddy; She knew it was going to be a good night when he was there. Of course, last night he was already out of his mind by the time she had found him in the crowded building. She'd gotten a laugh out of watching him behave like a goof, especially since she was typically right beside him, just as plastered, and never usually got the chance to watch. She doubted that he even remembered her walking him to his dorm last night and making sure he got to his bed safely, Ceri thought with a little smile to herself. He was so going to get teased about that later; He owed her one!
Planning out what she was going to do today in her head, Ceridwyn began the walk across campus. First and foremost, she needed to speak with one of her professors. The shortest way would be through the chapel, and she quickly rerouted herself onto that path. The campus was stunning, even though it was a bit on the busier side this morning. Slipping in through the chapel doors, she began to make her way through the building quietly, hoping not to disturb any of the individuals who were deep in prayer or thought. But, as fate would have it, the very guy she had been thinking of was seated not too far from the doors. Ceri smirked, pushing a strand of hair out of her face before sneaking over toward him. Slowly, she put her hand on his shoulder, hoping to make him jump. No such luck, though, as he merely turned and looked at her, obviously surprised to see her there as she wasn't really the religious type. "Hey you.
" She said with a grin, stepping forward and taking the seat next to him. " Whatcha doin?"[/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall his head still pounded, but that wasn't the only thing that pounded anymore. he secretly had to admit that anytime, ceridwyn smiled at him, he felt his heart pounding a bit faster. not that anyone ever needed to know that. he was open and very outgoing, but he was also a bit in denial about his feelings for her. she made things happen inside of him and he wasn't brave enough to tell her. because of her brother and his best friend. logan was afraid to lose both of them. but he was certain, that he was most afraid to lose his best friend. as she asked what he was doing, he sighed and looked down in his lap. "trying to mend my mental hangover.. " he said with a small grin. "i have an idea that i did something out of the ordinary last night.. and the fun thing is.. i can't remember if you even showed up, cherie?" cherie was his own very private nickname to her. it was a sweeter extension to her other nickname "ceri". but he only called her that when they were alone. it meant something like "baby" or "sweety". he asked and looked at her with his caring, yet tired eyes.
logan rubbed his eyes again and yawned. loudly, but discreet. he was in a chapel after all. and even though he wasn't religious at all, it was a good idea to show respect to those who was. logan wouldn't blame ceridwyn for not having showed up, he knew she had a busy day. but if she had been there and if he hadn't been so fucking drunk as he was last night, he would have flirted with her. they sometimes did that to parties. without her brother seeing it. maybe he was just ignorant, because he never said anything when he saw it. but logan knew he had to be careful. one wrong step and he would know. logan sighed and then turned his head to face her. god, she was perfect in every possible way. if only he could say it to her, without being drunk. not that he ever admitted it to her while being drunk. he just really wished he had the balls to confront his best friend about this. because being in love with your best mate's little sister was something that needed to be talked about before it could become a reality.
to logan she looked fine. not like she was hungover in any way. he was curious to why she was here, though. "i don't think you are here to confess, cherie? you don't quite strike to me as the most religious girl out there.." he said with a wink. logan knew she had a soft spot for alcohol.

Sometimes she couldn't quite understand it herself, but whenever Ceridwyn was around Logan (and wasn't completely drunk), she felt different. Not in a bad way, but she wasn't sure it was a good thing either. Her whole body felt a little lighter, and there was this sort of tingly sensation in her stomach. And, she was happy, though not abnormally so. Whenever she saw him, even if she was having an absolutely horrible day, it was as though things were instantly just a little bit better; He always knew how to make her smile. She wrote it off as being that he was like family, like an older brother to her since he was so close to her own. Of course, if she were being honest with herself or if she were to talk to anyone else about this (not that she ever had before), they would say she was in denial. Ceri definitely had feelings for her older brother's best friend but couldn't seem to admit that to herself. It was a good thing; Her brother would flip out on her if he even suspected there was something going on, not to mention the stress it would put on the friendship between him and Logan. Who wanted to be responsible for coming between two best friends?
Ceri smiled at Logan as she took the seat next to him, wondering what he was doing in the chapel. "Trying to mend a mental hang over...i have an idea that i did something out of the ordinary last night.. and the fun thing is.. i can't remember if you even showed up, cherie?" Her stomach nearly did flip-flops as he called her by the nickname he had just for her. Oh, sure, she knew it was just a spin on her regular nickname, but it had this affect on her all the same. Her face showed no reaction this, though, as she laughed at the memory of last night. "Yeah, I showed up. You don't remember using me as a leaning post all the way home?
" she said with a little smirk on her face, her eyes looking at his with a teasing gleam in them. " I doubt you would have even made it into bed if it wasn't for me. Can't handle your liquor anymore, Logan?" A huge grin lit up her face at being able to tease him over it. It was a good thing that some things were fuzzy when she thought of the night before. Ceridwyn couldn't remember half of what was said between them, including his offer for her to crash in his bed while she was helping him into it. " You owe me big time." While she may not have looked hung over at all, she did have a pretty bad headache. He, on the other hand, looked like he hadn't slept at all. Having been in that same position many times before, she had sympathy for him. " i don't think you are here to confess, cherie? you don't quite strike to me as the most religious girl out there.." Ceri grinned, shaking her head. " I was just passing through." She explained, her eyes looking at the doors she had intended to head straight out of before she saw him. Talking to her professor, however, could wait for another day. The questions she had wasn't needed for any assignment that she had received; Just a few things she wanted to be certain she understood about the differences between children and adult bodies. " But I've got a better idea...Want to go get some coffee? You look like you could use it." She knew she could use some herself, and there wasn't anyone else she would rather have as company.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: #000000, width: 300px; height: 300px;] suppose I kept on singing love songs just to break my own fall why was it so hard for him to have a straight talk with his best about what he really felt for ceridwyn? well, because her brother was obviously extremely protective of her and from the brother/sister perspective he could totally see it, but from the fact that logan was in love with her, it made no sense at all. logan just needed to take a deep breath and then convince him that he would never hurt or harm her. he couldn't guarantee that he would want marry her, because logan was still young. but he could convince him that he would never cheat on her, because she was the only girl he had ever loved. but it was easier said than done. the outcome of this scared the shit out of logan and he could that him and ceridwyn's somewhat shameless flirting when they were drunk couldn't continue unless he told how he felt to his best friend.
logan listened to him and his mouth opened wider and wider for every word she said. she had been the one to get him to bed? oh man. she was even more awesome than he first thought. he thought about what had happened and quickly it all came back to him. logan rubbed his temples. and then he smiled brightly and very boyish. "i remember i asked you to sleep in my bed.. you should have accepted, cherie. remember i'm lucky enough to have my own bedroom." he said and winked at her. not that he would have done anything with her... or would he? logan kinda wanted to kiss her like really badly. then she said he owed her big time and logan used a good minute to think, before he did something he never expected himself to do. but, still he really wanted to do it. logan leaned in and pressed a kiss against her lips and then pulled away with a small smile. he had no idea how she would react, but logan was certain that she felt something for him other than just friends.
logan then looked at her and wanted to answer her question. coffee. ah yes, the sound of that sounded perfect. "coffee sounds like sweet music in my ears." logan stood up and offered his hand to her. he know for a fact that his best friend had been more drunk than him last night, so he wouldn't come around. logan smiled at her.

Her stomach seemed to be tying itself in knots again. This was one of the reasons that Ceridwyn didn't spend much time around Logan outsdie of the many parties they went to; Her brother was the other main reason. They weren't even talking about anything that should have her reacting like this to him. It had to be the way he looked at her, with those gorgeous eyes of his, and that smile that lit up the whole room. Oh God, what was she saying? This was Logan, her brother's best friend! This could not be happening. If her brother only knew...Giving herself a mental shake, Ceri focused her attention back at him, trying not to think like that. Flirting was one thing; But once there were feelings behind the flirting, it was a completely different situation.
It seemed as though what she said triggered his memory, his boysih smile lighting up his face and fluttering the wings of the butterlfies which and apparently settled themselves in her stomach. "i remember i asked you to sleep in my bed.. you should have accepted, cherie. remember i'm lucky enough to have my own bedroom." If she were that type of girl, Ceridwyn would have blushed madly at that comment. Luckily, she was more accosumted to comments like that. Even still, her wit seemed to have disappeared as she faced him. "I'm not too sure that two drunk college students in a bed together is a good idea.
" Let alone the two of them; Their flirting was known to get pretty intense when her brother wasn't around and alcohol was in their system. The idea, however taboo it may be, was very intriguing despite what her mind was telling her. Before she knew what was happening, his lips were pressed against hers, softly and only for a moment. Ceridwyn was in shock! Did he just do what she think he just did? She wasn't quite sure how to handle it, what think or say or feel. Logan. Just. Kissed. Her. She was torn between wanting to kiss him back and wanting to run away. But, she wasn't going to do either. Instead, she just smiled at him with a very confused look on her face. " That was...umm...unexpected." she said as she looked down, trying to think about how to handle this. Maybe it was best to just see how things went from here. . . " coffee sounds like sweet music in my ears." He said, thankfully changing the moment to something she was a bit more comfortable with. As he offered her his hand, she took it with a smile and stood up, a little closer to him than she had expected to be. Doing something that she hadn't expected to, she interwined her fingers with his without a word. Her eyes met his, filled with a myriad of emotions in them, before she began to head toward the coffee shop. They walked in silence for a few moments, before she turned her head to look at him again, trying not to think about how perfectly her hand seemed to fit inside of his. " So...did you have fun last night?"[/blockquote][/blockquote]
