No New Posts LE AUBERGE

said to be as as french as de gaulle's nose, the auberge speaks to many travelers' most cherished notion about france. draped in a stylish nautical and colonial atmosphere and you will dine one of the finest meals in all the world and made up of true french cuisine. though prices aren’t very small, they aren’t unreasonable and for being one of the most well known fine dining joints, they’re rather low.

No New Posts FAURE CAFÉ

named after edgar faure, the man who refurbished the university, the café is one of the most favoured of all hangout places by the college students and faculty. With several Parisian and American delicacies spread out upon it’s menu and thousands of comfortable nooks and crannies in which one can settle into, it’s no wonder. Complete with multicolored coffee mugs and a sort of modern-abstract décor, it’s one of the best areas in which one can relax or even take the love of their life out to for a quiet night.

No New Posts AU BON MARCHE

this is the oldest department store in paris, dating from 1852. several american’s have often compared it to bloomingdales when they see it due to the large and overwhelming prices of clothing it keeps within its walls. everything is the epitome of finery and when first walking in one will automatically notice the hoity shop clerks with looks as though they believe not a soul could truly afford anything on display.

No New Posts TRÉSORS D'AUTREFOIS

a true personification of it’s name, this vintage store carries fashions dating all the way back to the late nineteenth century. don’t automatically think it carries only clothing as that is far from true. complete with those chests one would see only at their grandmother’s house or jewellery that looks as though it belonged to marie antoinette herself, no wonder the store is called ‘treasures of yesterday’.

No New Posts ÉTUDIANT DE STATIONNEMENT

every school has one of these to park those amazing ferraris and the horrific 1987 mustangs. whether they are student-owned and/or parent bought, you’ll find out here. however, it is also one of the scariest places on campus. after all, when the lights dim and the sun falls to night, no one is there to hear you if you scream.

Board Description
LA RUE DE FLEURS
the typical university is often compared to a city unto itself. the sorbonne is no different. though it may be labeled as the gardens, the court et jardins is actually an entire street filled with students rushing across to grab a bite to eat, or to buy something from one of the small boutiques lined along the square.
