named after its designer, engineer gustave eiffel, the tower is tallest building in paris. more than 200,000,000 people have visited the tower since its construction in 1889. there are lovely cafés and restaurants such as the jules verne or altitude 95 that you can dine at. or, simply take a walk along one of the platforms to view the city from a different kind of view.
