Erik has been awake for two hours already, he was always an early bird, he had showered, shaved, eaten breakfast, dressed and done some work that was due for one of his professors on monday. looking at his watch he sighed, he had about thirty minutes before he was due to pick up Amiee for their day of excitment. Although Erik wasn't the most sensitive guy the world he felt a little something for Amiee, she was sweet, caring and most importantly she didn't annoy him at all and although she seemed to like him aswell he wasn't exactly being himself, when he was around women he turned up the charm, he chatted more and was friendlier although he still managed to work his way around any sort of overly personal conversation, being around Amiee did cheer him up a little though and he didn't know why but the act of being a happier guy felt a little more real when he was with her.
Going over to his desk he flipped up his laptop and typed in a url which would take him to a website for the local news, although Erik wasn't overly worried about his name being on the kill list he wasn't stupid, there was actually a killer out there who wanted him dead and Erik wasn't going to make that easy. His door was always locked and bolted, he had CCTV set up outside his front door, not that it would do much good seeing as no one knew who the killer was, and ofcourse there was the police parked outside his dorms most of the time to be honest if this killer wanted him dead it wouldnt be hard to get to him.
Checking the website for any updates from the police on the murders he saw nothing of any great interest so shut down his laptop grabbed his keys, wallet, phone and jacket and headed out of his dorm and to the student car park. He could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end, hewas alone in the car park but he could feel someone watching him ofcourse it could have been his imagination but then again it could really be someone stalking his prey. Shrugging the feeling off Erik opened the door to his high priced sport car, he descreatly checked the back seat, no one was there and then started the car heading over to Jason Evertons dorm where Amiee had been staying. It took him a little over ten minutes to get there, he sat outside and honked the horn three times. He had a good day planned. La Limite Exterieure was a little different from the rest of the city, it has something creepy but romantic about it. Hearing a door being pulled shut Erik looked up to see her walking quickly towards his car, and for some reason his heart skipped a beat and then started to beat very fast.

© a little lost without youstop there and let me correct it , i wanna live a life from a new perspective It might sound stupid, but Aimée was a little nervous for her date with Erik. What is a date? She wasn't sure. She hoped it was, but it wasn't like she could tell the difference between going out and having fun with a friend of the opposite sex or a date. She hadn't been on many dates in her lifetime, and although that seemed a little pathetic for a senior in college, it made her even more excited for the day that lay ahead. She had woken up early just for the main fact that, well she was a girl and it took her a while to get ready. She hoped it would distract her from the butterflies flitting around in her stomach.
It didn't. It made her even more nervous. She liked Erik; he was nice and sweet. A lot like Jason, but Jason had become a good friend of hers. There was something about Erik that just made her want to see him every day. Aimée could see herself spending a lot of time around him, and she had to admit a little crush had budded on her end. She wondered if he knew; if not then she very well would never tell him. She was the admire for afar type. She rarely ever made a move in fear of being rejected. She wasn't sure what sort of girls he was into, anyway. She was half sure it wasn't incredibly shy girls like herself.
Or maybe she was just being too critical of herself. She paced the dorm silently. Maybe she was his type... she suddenly stopped. Should she even be going anywhere with anyone with this murderer waltzing about? It could be anyone.. even Erik. Or Jason. Or Eli.. she shook her head. No. She wasn't going to think about any of that today. She was going to have a nice, exciting day with Erik today. She needed desperately to get her mind off of everything that had been going on. She had buried her dog just yesterday in a small field a little ways from the university, and the image of her poor Scraps would always be embedded in her brain. But today.. today she needed to relax.
Aimée heard someone honk outside and she jumped up, grabbing her purse and a sweater. She peeked into Jason's room; he was still sleeping and she didn't want to disturb him. Although he knew she was leaving for the day, she left a quick note anyway, just in case. She didn't want him to worry. She slipped from the dorm and closed it firmly behind her, making sure it was locked. She glanced up and saw Erik in his car. She smiled and walked over quickly. She opened the car door and slid into the passengers' seat.
She looked at his blue eyes and nearly melted. The butterflies in her stomach flitted around even more now. "Hi," she said softly with a sweet smile. She hugged him quickly, then set her purse and sweater carefully in her lap. She suddenly felt really happy. She glanced over at him again. Today was going to be a really good day.

Erik lets the corners of his mouth twitch into a smile, it was a special smile, one he only used for girls he actually found interesting. He watched as she made herself comfortable in his car and buckled herself in then he pushed the car into drive and started to thirty minutes drive to there destination. After a few minutes of comfortable silence erik decided that he should probably start talking, Amiee seemed like a rather shy girl and although she didnt over talk he didnt want her to feel awkward around him. "So how are you feeling today?" he asked as he turned of the University campus and onto a main road "Jason still being a gentleman i hope" he looked over at her, he had sunglasses over his eyes like he usually did during the day.
Erik weaved in and out of the early morning traffic, his sports car could go much faster then some of the cars on the road so he had no trouble getting places on time. It was hard driving in the care with Amiee though, he found himself paying little attention to the road ahead of him and instead he would watch her, he found even just the little things about her exciting. the way she touched her hair, her expressions just her face in general, Erik knew a lot of pretty women but known that seemed to have this sweet beauty that she had. Clearing his throat and shaking his head he stopped all his thoughts and tried to concentrate on driving, it wasn't working.
For once in his life Erik decided that talking was probably the best idea right now, small talk irratated him to much so he wasn't going to use that, he wracked his brain for the sort of questions he rarley asked women but would interesting enough to keep him engaged in the conversation. It took him a minute or two but he decided to go for something fun but that could actually be interesting, "So Amiee, whats your secret?" he asked her "I mean something interesting that you don't just tell anyone on a first date" yes he had slipped in the words first date not something he did often and he wondered if she would notice.

© a little lost without youstop there and let me correct it , i wanna live a life from a new perspective Aimée enjoyed the silence between them. It wasn't like it was awkward; it was actually surprisingly comfortable. Silences tended to have even the slightest bit of awkwardness in them but she was glad this one didn't. She tried her best to not keep looking at him but it was just so hard. She would peek up through her eyelashes at him. She could see him look at her through his sunglasses and whenever she did she turned away, a light blush coloring her cheeks.
"So how are you feeling today? Jason is still being a gentleman I hope." She nodded. "Yes," she replied, "he's been a great host." It was true. Jason pretty much treated her like a little sister. True, they flirted here and there but it was only playfully. Aimée peeked at him again and gave a little smile. He asked as if he had cared; and as far as she knew, he did, and it felt nice to have someone that's not your family or your best friend care about you. She turned her eyes to the road in front of them, a million things going through her mind and a million feelings racing through her body.
What if the butterflies in her stomach meant that this was just the start of something? That they could maybe end up being more than just friends? Her heart began to race a little at the excitement of the thought. But she knew she was probably thinking ahead, way ahead. She leaned against the seat comfortably and pushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She hated over thinking things all the time or getting ahead of herself.
Aimée turned her head to look at him again. It was just so hard not to, and she decided to stop fighting it. "So Aimée what's your secret? I mean something interesting that you don't just tell anyone on a first date." She bit her lip to hold back a smile. So she was sure now that it was a date and she could feel color rush to her cheeks. She tilted her head a little bit at his question, wondering what her biggest secret was.
It didn't take her long at all to figure it out. Her biggest secret was that she was adopted. Not that she wanted it to be a secret, her foster parents were amazing and wonderful people. It just barely ever came up in a conversation, and there had been times where it had come up and she was made fun of it for it. Granted, that happened when she was in high school, but it still gave her a fear of never really wanting someone to ask her about her childhood or family life.
But she felt like she could tell Erik. She knew he wouldn't ridicule her for it, so she took in a deep breath and glanced down at her lap. "Something I don't tell anyone on a first date, huh?" She bit her lip again. "Well.. I was adopted when I was seven. I've never told anyone but Eli." She glanced up and smiled a little at him. She wanted to ask him a question too but was never really good at coming up with ones of her own, so after answering she quickly repeated his question. "How about you?" she asked. "What's something that mysterious Erik doesn't tell anyone on a first date?" A small giggle escaped her lips and she raised an eyebrow.

Erik smiled as her cheeks turned a sweet shade of pink when he mentioned the word date she didnt protest to the idea of it and that made Erik happier then he expected. While she considered his question Erik pulled of the motorway and headed onto the older country roads that lead to La Limite Exterieure and the Hotel de Misericorde abandonnes. He watched as emotion flickered across her face while she silently choose the secret she was going to tell him and eventually she parted her lips and spoke Well.. I was adopted when I was seven. I've never told anyone but Eli. again his heart fluttered, she trusted him with something that important. "I promise to take your secret to my grave" he said taking his hand off the steering wheel and crossing his heart before turning and smiling at her.
What's something that mysterious Erik doesn't tell anyone on a first date this time Eriks heart didnt flutter it froze and his breathe caught tight in his cheast, family or secrets wasn't one of Erik favorite topics of conversations, no one knew anything about his past and he liked it that way ut his question had back fired and he couldn't tell her he didn't want to tell her anything after she had opened up to him with a secret.
Erik didn't answer for a while, truth be told his life had never been very exciting, he was born and raised in Manhatten to two super rich people who payed little attention to him or his younger sibling. Erik spoke so little about his family that he didn't even quite know how to start. Sighing he pulled the car quickly round a sharp corner and he could feel the strain on the car. "Look i dont talk about privatye stuff very often so if my secret is crappy its just because im not used to telling anyone anything" he said slipping his sunglasses off his eyes and hooking them on his shirt as the car drove under a long road covered with over hanging trees making it look like twilight then early morning.
Thinking a little harder he decided that the easiest answer was the honest truth "Well its not really a secret more of a fact" he said shrugging as he spoke "My parents hate their children more then they hate each other" his voice was emotionless "Being adopted was a dream for me as a kid, and im not saying any of this to make you feel sorry for me, its just the way my family are, emotionless" he stopped talking realising that he remember exactly why he didn't talk about personal stuff, it made him sound like a whiney idiot.

© a little lost without youstop there and let me correct it , i wanna live a life from a new perspective Aimée was feeling very good at that moment. They had barely even started their date yet, but she felt amazing. Being around Erik simply just made her happy. It would have sounded foolish if she said it out loud to someone; they just wouldn't understand. She wouldn't be able to find the words to say, anyway. Erik just seemed perfect in every way, or at least from what she knew and saw of him. "I promise to take your secret to my grave." She watched as he crossed his heart and she smiled. "Thank you," she said. "It's not like I really want it to be a secret.. but I just never want to tell anyone that my foster parents aren't my real parents." She trailed off then, a small frown overtaking the smile.
She blinked a few times to clear her mind and her smile returned at full wattage. She patiently awaited an answer from him, but when he took a while to answer she figured he had just ignored her. She turned away from him and instead looked out of the window. If he had ignored her she hadn't been hurt by it; she was often ignored for various reasons. She was either too quiet, not that interesting, or had crossed a line. She was never sure which, but whatever one it was she never quite took it to heart.
The girls' eye traveled back over to him as he spoke. "Look I don't talk about private stuff very often so if my secret is crappy it's just because I'm not used to telling anyone anything." She looked down as her smile disappeared, opening her mouth slightly to apologize. She thought against it and fiddled with the hem of her dress. Okay, so she had apparently crossed a line in asking the same question he had asked her. She felt terrible but didn't want to say anything else just in case she crossed another line again.
A light, nearly silent sigh drifted from her mouth. Aimée looked up at the overhanging trees and quickly reached for the camera in her purse. She snapped a picture through the window, loving the way the trees seemed only a little blurred from the moving car. She smiled as she examined it and shoved the camera back into her bag. She was rarely ever seen without her camera, and it was a simple sight like that that made her want to carry it around all the time.
"My parents hate their children more then they hate each other. Being adopted was a dream for me as a kid, and I'm not saying any of this to make you feel sorry for me, it's just the way my family is, emotionless." She remained silent, stunned. She felt a bit offended by the comment, simply because the orphanages she grew up in were anything but nice, and the people were anything but kind. Emotionless? She wasn't sure if they're emotionless meaning was the same, or how bad it was for him. Then she started wondering, what if he was just as emotionless as the rest of his family? Perhaps she was just another girl to him and nothing more. It wouldn't be the first time.
She looked down at her lap again. "Oh," she said very softly. "I-I'm sorry for a-asking." She bit her lip and let a silence set in. Aimée made a mental note to not ask a question about secrets, or about his family, again. She glanced up at the road, hoping they were almost at their destination.

Erik saw her grow a little nervous, well he wasn't sure if it was nerves but she seemd to shrink back into herself and Erik cursed to himself and outloud "Shit" he muttered under his breathe this was the exact reason he never talked about his family or overly personal things he was never good at it, thats what came from being brought up by parents who barley spoke to each other or there kids it was a miracle that Erik wasn't more fucked up really. "Im sorry Amiee" he said "I didnt mean to make you un-comfortable i told you i wasn't any good at this revealing secret thing" he said turning to look at her he gave her a quick smile "deep conversation was never really my thing" he laughed a little trying to lighten the mood.
He looked down at her lap to see the purse resting in it and thought it would be a good way to change the conversation, they were nearly at there destination "Where im taking you will be a good place to take pictures" he said a lighter tone in his voice "Are you majoring in photography?" he asked her remembering he had never really asked what she studying at the college they both attended. He began to slow the car and look for a good places to park, he could spot the old abandoned hotel, there were no other cars in sight and figured it was either to early for people to come and explore or nobody felt like hanging around creepy old buildings with murderers hanging around killing off students on at a time.
Pulling the car in under a tree in the shade Erik unbucked his seat belt and jumped out of the car quickly making his way round to Amiees side to open her door for her, if Erik had been taught one thing from his parents it was good manors and how to act properly in good company, she slid out of his car and he smiled at her hoping the awkwardness of the earlier conversation had warn off "You know people tell me im really photogenic" he said giving her his best model pose and then laughing at himself "Joke, im not that arrogant" he said and he turned to look at the big old abandoned hotel behind them "Have you been here before" he asked her turning to watch her face to try and figure out what she was thinking, his beats pur minutes uped again but this time he let them, he felt something a little different with her and for the first time in a long time he did his very best to open up and let himself feel it. Turning to face her properly he slipped his hand into hers and stepped backwards giving her a little tug "Wanna explore inside?" he asked.
OOC: Sorry its not great, im running out of internet time.
